about Eric Boutilier-Brown
Male
I am a fine art photographer and teacher living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I currently split my time between teaching photography, and pursuing my own fine art photography. I have been involved with the arts since a very young age, mainly due to my mother's career as an Arts Educator and artist.I began exploring photography in 1986, and since then have moved through a wide range of processes and experiences to arrive where I am today. Until 2005, I used film cameras, with a focus on large format (4"x5" and 8"x10") and infrared photography (Kodak HIE). In 2002, I began working with digital cameras, initially in colour and black and white, and since 2005, in infrared.
Eric,
We spoke in length about 20 years ago. Are styles have both changed a bit over the years. One of your images from back then, where the light on the water made as S-curve leading your eye to the lady on the shoreline stuck with me and influenced my work greatly.
Hope you are well and still at it.
Dave

Just amazing work - thank you for inspiring!
Eric, I really like the way you add descriptions of the image or the environment you were in or the model. Wonderful images all. Thanks
Excellent work. Always love finding other infrared shooters!
