My name is Autumn-Joy but I'm a Virgo born in August. I had nothing to do with my name, but love it as much as my soulful, hippie momma. 13 years ago I met my soul mate who was teaching photography, as well as shooting actively as a photojournalist. I fell madly in-love with him and stole his career (and all his gear). We started Pittelli Photography in 2004, focusing mainly on weddings. Once we approached a decade of hearing how weddings were everyone's happiest days, I started moving towards female 'empowerment' pieces-survivors, transformers, people who's happiest days came with the words 'remission' and 'you're safe.' The happiest days are often so private, with no fan-fair that I'm now working hard expose my subjects and myself to another type of beautiful living. I primarily shoot essays which demonstrate another type of 'happiest day'. In summary, I'm just hoping to inspire and be inspired. I have a studio north of Philadelphia which I share with 4 other independent photographers (studio mates). I was recommended to this site b/c I really need some critiques and constructive criticism on my nudes and unfortunately, b/c of censor restrictions, there are few places in-which I can share.
